Job Description
- Independently manage a portfolio of high-value overdue accounts and execute effective recovery strategies.
- Conduct professional negotiations with debtors (individuals and corporate clients) to achieve mutually acceptable repayment solutions while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Perform field visits and follow-ups as required to maximize recovery outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of junior recovery officers and telecallers.
- Monitor recovery performance, prepare detailed progress reports, and provide insights for strategic planning.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in debt recovery or collections, preferably in banking, finance, leasing, or telecom sectors.
- Proven track record in handling complex, high-value recovery cases independently.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide and develop junior team members.
- High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for reporting and data analysis).
- Valid driving license and own vehicle would be an added advantage (for field recovery).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
