Job Description
- Lead and manage the overall recovery operations for a portfolio of high-value and complex accounts.
- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to maximize collections and reduce non-performing accounts.
- Negotiate settlements with corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals at a senior level.
- Oversee, mentor, and performance-manage a team of Recovery Executives, Officers, and Tele Calling Executives.
- Monitor team performance, set targets, and conduct regular reviews to ensure achievement of collection goals.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports, analyze recovery trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards in all recovery activities.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and internal departments for smooth recovery processes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in debt recovery/collections, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Proven track record in handling large recovery portfolios and achieving challenging collection targets.
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and reporting tools.
- Previous experience in banking, finance, leasing, or telecom collections is highly preferred.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle would be a strong advantage.
